WHAT WE BELIEVE RIVUS / MANIFESTO

Most AI is built to do your work. We build AI to make your work better.

Most AI today is racing to do more of the work for you: draft it, decide it, ship it while you watch. That's one bet. We're making a different one.

What you're paid for is your thinking, and a tool should sharpen it, not quietly take it over. Rivus isn't built to replace you. It's built to make you sharper and keep your name on the work.

FIVE PRINCIPLES

01

AI should make you sharper, not just faster.

It's easy to let a tool do more and more of the thinking. We'd rather build one you think with, so you come out of a session with more, not less.

02

The work stays yours.

Everything that leaves your desk carries your judgment, your call, your voice. Not a generic draft a machine scraped together. If a reader can tell it was AI, we failed at our job.

03

You're the center, not a step in the loop.

A lot of tools put the machine in charge of the process and leave you to approve the output. We build it the other way around: you run the work, and the AI works inside your loop, on your terms.

04

It's yours, not everyone's.

A blank AI shared by millions gives everyone the same answer. Yours holds your information and your standards, and gets sharper the more you use it. You own it, you don't rent it, and it goes where you go.

05

A good tool has a point of view.

A neutral tool that does whatever you ask, however you ask, gives you mush. We have opinions about what good work looks like, and we build them in. You can push back, but you'll never start from nothing, and it'll never just tell you your idea is great.

WHO'S BEHIND RIVUS

We're Franco and Herman. We met at university and spent eight years running a digital product studio.

We're over-thinkers by nature, and we built Rivus for the work we do every day: the memo, the call, the piece that has to be right and has to sound like us. We tried handing that work to AI and hated what came back, generic, forgetful, someone else's voice.

So we built the tool we wanted: one that holds our information, works the way we work, and leaves the thinking to us.

We're building Rivus for people who make their living on their own judgment and produce the work with their own hands. If that's you, it's built for you, by two people who need it as much as you do.
